Statement of Faith

OUR DOCTRINAL POSITION ON:

The Inspiration of the Bible: We believe the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and preserved. (II Timothy 3:16-17)

The Person of God the Father: We believe God is Supreme, an Eternal Being, and the Creator. We believe in the Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three in one God, equal in power and glory. (Acts 17:24-25; I John 5:7)

The Person of Jesus Christ: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, being born in the virgin birth, and the Savior to save us from all sins. He died, was buried, and raised up from the dead, then he ascended into Heaven. He will come physically for his bride, the church, in the rapture. After the tribulation, He will be the Judge and King at His 2nd coming for the Millennium. (Isaiah 7:14; I Corinthians 15:1-4; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 17:14)

The Person of Holy Spirit: (John 10:28-29; I Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 1:13-14; Hebrews 6:1-6)

The Church: We believe that the visible church is the assembly of baptized believers practicing New Testament doctrines, using the two ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’ s Supper, and exercising the local church as self-governing, self-disciplining, self-supporting and self-propagating. (Matthew 3:13-17; 18:15-17; 28:19-20; I Corinthians 11-12; Ephesians 4:11-12)

Heaven and Hell: We believe that lost sinners go to Hell, the everlasting punishment, and that saved believers go to Heaven, the everlasting life. The sinners, who reject Jesus Christ, will be raised up and stand before God in the great White Throne Judgment and then they will be cast into the lake of fire forever. After death or the rapture, the believers will face the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven to be judged of their works. (John 5:28, 29; I Corinthians 3:10-15; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:1-2)

Current Trends in Theology: As a fundamental group of believers, we take our stand against the current trends including the Charismatic movement, Ecumenical movement, Neo-Orthodoxy, and Neo-Evangelicalism that lead to discredit the Bible and undermine the fundamentals of the faith.
